Graciellie Design - Keep Growing

"KEEP GROWING" es otro de los nuevos sellos de GRACIELLIE DESIGN  que estamos estrenando este mes y que encontraréis AQUÍ con un importante descuento.

Este año es de renovación y de aprendizaje y con este set me he decidido por hacer una página de Art Journal. He hecho muy pocas (3 o 4), pero al pertenecer al grupo de mixed media de facebook de Milagros, estoy aprendiendo muchas técnicas y estoy "perdiendo la vergüenza", como decimos coloquialmente. Mirad su blog pinchando en su nombre.

Preparé mi página con una capa de gesso y pegando los sellos digitales sin colorear en una de las caras. Después de dar una capa de masking para poder hacer con tranquilidad el fondo sin manchar los digis, comencé usando gelatos extendidos con los dedos, acuarelas, glimmer mist y dylussions líquidas. También hice un estarcido fantasma con una plantilla de TCW. No quise insistir mucho y se ve ligeramente en algunas áreas.
This year is a renewal and learning for me and with this set I decided to make an Art Journal page. I have done very few (3 or 4), but since I belong to Milagros' mixed media group, I am learning many techniques and I am "losing the shame", as we say colloquially. I prepared my page with a layer of gesso and sticking the digital stamps without coloring on one of the faces. After giving a layer of masking to be able to make the background quietly without staining the digis, I began using extended gelatos with fingers, watercolors, glimmer mist and liquid dylussions. I also made a ghost stencil with a TCW template. I did not want to insist much and it looks slightly in some areas.

This second page has transparent relief paste made with the die that I pasted and that I also used as a template.

Una vez seco el fondo, troquelé una cartulina con foil de un trabajo que no salió bien y lo fui pegando en diferentes zonas en trozos.
A partir de ahora toca colocar las flores y las ramas que previamente había coloreado con Copics. Arrugué las flores para conseguir un toque menos plano. Una de ellas está pegada con cinta 3D y ambas sobre las flores que no había coloreado. Al final decidí colorear con rojo burdeos una de las flores iniciales. Una gota de Nuvo amarillo decora el centro de las flores. Una de las ramas coloreada tapa prácticamente la rama en blanco. 

Once the background was dry, I cut a cardboard with foil from a job that did not work well with a new die and I stuck it in different areas in pieces.
From now on it is necessary to place the flowers and branches that had previously been colored with Copics. I crumpled the flowers to get a less flat touch. One of them is stuck with 3D tape and both on the flowers that had not colored. In the end I decided to color with burgundy red one of the initial flowers. I added one drop of yellow Nuvo in the middle. One of the colored branches practically covers the branch in white. 

La segunda página la dediqué exclusivamente a resaltar el pensamiento que coloreé con gelatos naranja y rojo, con los dedos. La cartulina está recortada rasgándola a mano y pegada con volumen sobre otro de los troquelados. También le acompaña otra de las ramas del set.

Este pensamiento lleva un mensaje muy positivo: "Ve a por ello. Tú puedes hacer grandes cosas. No hay nada que no puedas hacer".

The second page I dedicated exclusively to highlight the sentiment that I colored with orange and red gelatos, with my fingers. The cardboard is cut by ripping it by hand and stuck with volume on another of the die cuts. It is also accompanied by another branch of the set.
