Splashymix Challenge: Tarjeta multicapas

¡Bienvenidos y feliz sábado! Hoy os presento mi tarjeta con el moodboard de mayo para Splashymix Challenge donde puedes visitar las reglas para participar en el reto.

Welcome and happy week to everybody! I'm sharing with you my card with May moodboard for Splashymix Challenge where you can visit the rules to participate in the challenge.

Para crear mi tarjeta de hoy decidí hacer varias capas. En primer lugar embosé un trozo de papel fotográfico y lo coloreé con tintas Distress Oxide acordes con el moodboard de mayo. Por otro lado, puse los mismos colores de tintas sobre el tapete de trabajo para activarlas con agua y dar color a un trozo de cartulina blanca White Smooth Card Stock pasándola varias veces sobre el tapete y secándola con la pistola para que tuviera unos tonos diferentes. Cuando estuvo completamente seca, la troquelé con un borde ondulado para que me ocupara solamente la mitad de la tarjeta base.

Por otro lado imprimí la imagen del globo incluida en el set Funny Times Digital Stamps,  de la nueva colección A Ray of Sunshine de Joy Clair que coloreé con rotuladores Spectrum Noir después de recortarla con la Silhouette Cameo.

My card for today is created with several layers. First, I embossed a piece of photographic paper and colored it with Distress Oxide inks according to the moodboard for May. On the other hand, I put the same colors of inks on the work mat to activate them with water and color a piece of cardboard White Smooth Card Stock by passing it several times on the mat and drying it with the heat gun so that it had different tones. When it was dry, I punched it out with a wavy edge so that it only took up half of the base card.

On the other hand, I printed the image of the balloon included in the Funny Times Digital Stamps set, from Joy Clair's new  Ray of Sunshine collection that I colored with Spectrum Noir markers, after trimming with the Silhouette Cameo.

Ahora ya solo me falta pegarlo todo. La cartulina embosada y el trozo con Distress están pegadas una sobre otra sobre la tarjeta base con E-Z Runner Permanent Strips. Para el globo y el mensaje utilicé Crafty Foam Tape White con el fin de resaltarlos sobre el fondo.

Now I just need to paste it all. The embossed card stock and the Distress piece are glued one on top of the other on the base card with E-Z Runner Permanent Strips . For the balloon and the message I used Crafty Foam Tape White to make them stand out against the background.
