Feliz Año Nuevo dibujando mandalas

Me encantan los mandalas y la paz que proporcionan con sus diseños. Por este motivo, me pareció muy apropiado hacer una tarjeta de felicitación del año nuevo coloreando un mandala.

I love mandalas and the peace they convey with their designs. For this reason, it seemed very appropriate to make a card wishing a Happy New Year by coloring a mandala.

Para crear mi tarjeta usé los sellos digitales Santa's Favorite Digital Set y Mandala Love. Lo primero de todo fue imprimirlos en cartulina blanca White Smooth Card Stock.

Aparte hice un fondo con tintas Distress Oxide también sobre cartulina blanca. Mientras se estaba secando, coloreé el mandala con rotuladores Copics. Una vez que tuve las imágenes recortadas, comencé a hacer la composición sobre otro trozo de cartulina blanca.

En primer lugar pegué el fondo con adhesivo de doble cara E-Z Runner Permanent Strips. La imagen del mandala está pegada con foam adhesivo para mantenerlo diferenciado del fondo porque los dos tienen similares tonos. En el centro pegué un lazo dorado sobre el que imprimí el mensaje Happy New Year.

To create my card I used Santa's Favorite Digital Set and Mandala Love . Firts of all, I sent to print them on White Smooth Card Stock .

Apart, I made a background with Distress Oxide inks also on white cardboard. While it was drying, I colored the mandala with Copics markers. Once the images were cut out, I began to make the composition on another piece of  White Smooth Card Stock.

Firstly I glued the background with E-Z Runner Permanent Strips.  The mandala is pasted with Crafty Foam Tape White to make it stand out because they both have the same color tones. In the center I glued a gold ribbon and, on it, I have printed the sentiment Happy New Year.

Para darle el toque final, añadí algunos enamel dots dorados y añadí unas gotas de tintas Ranger's Dylusions Fresh Lime

For the final touch, I added some golden enamel dots and added a few drops of Ranger's Dylusions Fresh Lime inks.
