Hoy comenzamos a enseñar los nuevos sellos de Joy Clair para febrero con un Blog Hop que durará dos días. Son todos tan bonitos que podréis apreciar las distintas interpretaciones del equipo de diseño.
Today we start showing the new Joy Clair stamps for February with a two-day Blog Hop. They are all so beautiful that you will be able to appreciate the different interpretations of the design team.
Yo estoy usando My Succulents digital stamps. Yo creo que Martha, la dueña, me lo asignó porque sabe que me gustan las plantas suculentas y tengo varias en casa. De hecho, para colorearlas solo tuve que mirar mis tiestos.
Lo primero que hice fue traspasar las imágenes a mi silhouette cameo para recortarlas con precisión sobre cartulina blanca White Smooth Card Stock. A continuación las fui coloreando con mis rotuladores Copics procurando ser lo más fiel posible a lo que estaba viendo desde mi ventana.
I am using My Succulents digital stamps. I think Martha, the owner, assigned it to me because she knows I like succulents and I have several at home. In fact, to color them I only had to look at my pots.
The first thing I did was transfer the images to my silhouette cameo to cut them with precision on White Smooth Card Stock. Then I was coloring them with my Copics markers trying to be as faithful as possible to what I was seeing from my window.
Para crear el fondo de mi tarjeta, utilicé pasta craqueladora plateada de Stamperia aplicándola con una paletina sobre un plantilla de stencil. Antes de que secara, eché polvos de embosing Wow de color verde por encima y al aplicar calor, los polvos se fundieron a la vez que la pasta se craquelaba. Creo que podéis apreciarlo en las fotos.
To create the background of my card, I used Stamperia's silver cracker paste by applying it with a palette on a stencil template. Before it dried, I sprinkled green embosing Wow powders on top and when applying heat, the powders melted while the paste cracked. I think you can appreciate it in the photos.
Por otro lado, imprimí todos los mensajes tanto en cartulina como en velum o papel vegetal para tener la opción de escoger. En este caso, me pareció más oportuno utilizar velum y lo pegué a todo lo ancho de la tarjeta despues de pegar los tiestos de suculentas con Dual Tip Glue Pen porque, al tener textura el fondo, la cartulina se adhiere mejor con este tipo de pegamento.
Después la pegué a una cartulina marrón y todo junto a la base blanca de mi tarjeta con E-Z Runner Permanent Strips.
On the other hand, I printed all the messages both on cardboard and on velum or vegetable paper to have the option to choose. In this case, it seemed more appropriate to use velum and I glued it to the full width of the card after gluing the succulent pots with Dual Tip Glue Pen because, as the background has texture, the cardboard adheres better with this type of glue.
Then I glued it to a brown card and everything next to the white base of my card with E-Z Runner Permanent Strips
